RSC 2020-21 Season Update

Updated August 12th

Randolph Soccer Club continues to work with Randolph Township in terms of our protocols for in-person club activities.  RSC's protocols have been developed in conjunction with current information from government authorities and soccer sanctioning authorities, such as New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS).

RSC's 20-21 team formation work is close to being complete.  Player lists and additional information with regard to uniform ordering will be going out shortly to team leadership; so team level communication can begin.

Please note that there are player openings for the following age groups (birth years) on RSC teams that have been formed:

  • 2013 Boys & Girls (2014 players are eligible) - 8U
  • 2012 Girls - 9U
  • 2011 Girls - 10U
  • 2008 Girls - 13U
  • 2007 Girls - 14U

Feel free to contact club leadership with any inquiries at

Currently, MCYSA is projecting September 27th as their fall opening game date, with games running to November 22nd.  RSC is projecting to start regular training sessions the week right after Labor Day (week of September 8th) to give players the opportunity to get out on the field for multiple training sessions before games begin.  Obviously, all plans are contingent on any changes coming out of government authorities between now and then.

Club leadership will review plans for high school ages (birth years 2005 - 2002) once there's more clarity on high school soccer for the 20-21 school year.  We are open to providing opportunities for high school aged travel players to get on the pitch if it turns out that New Jersey cancels fall high school sports.

RSC's Return to Play Plan lays out the protocol for sessions for the time being.  It was successfully used for our July sessions.  Stay tuned for any adjustments as we head into the fall.

Click HERE to view a recording of RSC's Return to Play Webinar held on July 6th.  It runs a bit under 30 minutes.  Note for those who attended; the recording is a Take 2.  It was redone without the technical difficulties; so you can see the shared screen the whole time.  Plus, questions that came in during the original webinar are addressed.  The Webinar Slides, including an additional Q & A Response section at the end, are available HERE.

RSC remains committed to providing competitive soccer opportunities in as safe and healthy a way as possible, as the current global health situation continues to unfold.
