Randolph Soccer Club Tryout Information

Randolph Soccer Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1971, affiliated with Randolph Township.  The club is committed to the promotion of youth soccer and to the development of youth soccer players by offering a challenging, educational program that provides quality training and high-caliber competition.  The foundation of our program is the development of both individual and team soccer skills while emphasizing good sportsmanship, character development, and teamwork.  Travel Soccer represents an increased level of commitment, as well as competition, compared to recreational soccer.

Randolph Soccer Club teams participate in both a Fall league season and a Spring league season.  Accepting an RSC roster spot means the player has committed for both the fall and spring.  Each season typically consists of 10 games, one per week, with the Fall season running from September through November and the Spring season running from April through June. During the 10 week Fall and Spring seasons, all teams are professionally trained twice a week.  Randolph Soccer Club may form one or more teams at a given age group based on the number of players trying out and their skill level.  Teams are primarily formed with players residing in Randolph Township.  However, non-Randolph players are welcome and can play for the Randolph Soccer Club’s teams.

Tryouts typically take place in the spring (usually late April into early May) leading to team formation for teams that play the following soccer year (fall and spring).  Two tryouts are held for each age group/gender.  Prospective players are encouraged to attend both tryouts if possible.  Travel soccer age eligibility is based on the player's birth year.  Online pre-registration is encouraged (no cost).  On-site registration at a tryout costs $10.  Tryout details for the 2018-19 season are posted in an article on RSC's home page.

High school aged teams (16U-19U) that play spring season only may also be formed.  Check the website for details on the high school aged team tryouts; they usually take place in the late spring/early summer.
